Logan Hopper is a competitive and elusive runner — good overall athlete with the ability to also get recruited highly at other skill positions and in the return game. Frame is put together well and he has good overall body strength. A quick-twitched athlete with very good speed. As a running back, he is versatile in skill-set and used creatively. Extremely quick and fluid in and out of his cuts and this shifty runner is near impossibly to get a clean hit on at the high school level, in space or tight traffic. Body control and lateral agility are good as well. Flashes excellent stop-start, jump-cut and redirection skill. Simply freezes defenders who try and breakdown on him. Gets small through the hole and can see and exploit the creases of daylight very quick. He is tightly-wound and his legs and body never stop moving allowing to spin off consistent arm-tackles. Hopper is a determined runner who will lower the pads and get downhill when needed. Balance is excellent. Displays great hands and ball skills and could be a nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators in the screen and draw game or as a pure multi-purpose back. Great speed, quickness and hips as well as ball skills make corner or slot receiver possibilities as well in college. Overall, Hopper has some wow factor to his game from a elusive standpoint and is not afraid to square up and get North. Very good dynamic prospect. Should see early time as a returner.
