James McDaniels – RB

James is very well-rounded, talented with big-play potential on any given touch. Has good size with some room to get bigger as he continues to develop. Quick to the hole and does a great job running with his eyes, feeling closing defenders and seeing his blocks develop. Flashes great feet, shiftiness and body control through the initial traffic. Finds and hits the cutback with very good suddenness and decisiveness; consistently sidesteps initial penetration and the first defender through the hole. Has great change-of-direction and stop-start skill through traffic; never gives defenders a direct shot. Shows very good burst to day light out of his downhill cuts. Will surprise you with his speed and acceleration through the second level; can quickly split closing safeties and separate with a sneaky extra gear. Top-end speed is very good. Shows he can run with power and spin out of tackles with leg churning and good balance and forward lean. Has a strong running style that is productive at getting yards after contact. His pass receiving skills are excellent and he can really do a lot of things at the position and fit into a number of schemes. A highly productive rusher with a knack for finding the endzone and carrying his team; has the similar potential at the next level.
