Someone is going to get a fine prospect that is flying under the radar as a well-proportioned, strong armed pocket passer/dual threat that has one of the better, quicker releases this class has to offer. Somehow Labryant Strader is a hidden gem going into the summer. The ball really jumps off his hand with velocity and a quick, compact stroke. He is pretty polished, fundamentally consistent, carries the ball well and wastes little-to-no motion in everything he does. Drops are smooth and quick, and his set up is balanced. He has great arm strength. He can drive the ball downfield. Throws the deep ball with good velocity and also gets great RPMs on deep-out routes. Is capable of throwing on the run when rolling both to the right and left. Can beat the rush with his delivery. His timing is excellent, and he can deliver the deep comeback with ease. He is very accurate all over the field. Can fit the ball into tight spots when he has too, but rarely forces ball despite a ton of confidence in his arm. He’s crafty and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. Is very accurate, especially when on time. Has very good mechanics and timing as a passer. Is fluid in his drops, set up is balanced and is very consistent in his methods. Has been well coached on fundamentals. footwork, drops, delivery. Throws well on the move and when keeping plays alive. Labryant has a size, arm strength, but most importantly something you can’t coach; a smooth, compact quick and natural delivery. Labryant has nice size, a good football IQ and a good feel for the game. Look out coaches this kid can play.
