Scouting Report

Dylan is a tall, slashing galloper with an upright running style and great straight-line speed. He hits the hole with authority and a downhill head of steam but shows excellent vision and patience in terms of reading blocks and allowing the play develop when he needs to. He shows flashes of power with the weight to back it up. He has good vision, he makes good decisions and he bursts through the hole. Runs with good body tilt and shows good leg drive. He has nice balance for a taller back, he will break tackles and he is just as effective running outside as he is inside. He explodes though arm tackles, and it is rare if the first tackler gets him to the ground. He has good change-of-direction skills and is pretty elusive. He has excellent speed and has the ability to take it to the house when he gets into the secondary. He is an effective receiver out of the backfield on screens and check downs. He has good hands, runs good pass routes and has excellent RAC ability. He can take a short pass and turn it into a big play. Keeps his pad level down so he can protect himself from straight-on hits. Dylan can weave through traffic and we love the production he gives his offense.
