SCOUTING REPORT

Strengths:

From a very young age, Caleb’s talent has been undeniable and he’s evolved into one of the marquee players in the class of 2026. He has excellent perimeter size at 6-foot-3, a long 6-foot-8 wingspan, and a good basketball body that should continue to fill out in the coming years. He’s versatile with playmaking skills and fluid athleticism. He’s as smooth as he is long covering the court, showing great economy of motion, and can play well above the rim in space. He owns legitimate guard skills, handles well, and can make plays for himself and others both in the open floor as well as off ball-screens. He has a naturally soft shooting touch and is evolving into an increasingly consistent shooter who can make tough shots off the dribble. He has played with the ball in his hands quite a bit to date, is capable of playing multiple positions, and has lots of potential versatility on the defensive end with the size, length, and fluidity to check multiple positions.

Bottom Line:
He’s ultra-talented with perimeter size, length, and fluidity. That talent has had him under the microscope since a young age, and while he’s had some ups and downs, his progression has been largely linear as he’s gotten more aggressive, learned how to create his own shot, and become an increasingly dangerous shooter. There’s more upside left to discover as he continues to grow within the flow of offense, and buys into maximizing his defensive tools.
