Scouting Report

Colin is an athletic technician with dominant playing strength. Possesses the size we like to see for the OG/DT positions at the major level of competition. Shows good flexibility in his stance; displays very good initial quickness and first step while snapping the ball. Is explosive, can play with a flat back when combo or single blocking; gets good initial movement with the ability to knock defenders off the line of scrimmage. Demonstrates the foot quickness to reach front side and gain leverage on shaded down linemen. We see the overall athleticism to block quick 1st and 2nd level defenders. This is a smart player with the tools to make all the necessary run blocks at the next level. Displays nimble feet in pass protection; can snap accurately and quick set. Has a good center of gravity, can bend, slide and play flat footed. Shows the ability to pop out and play out of the box. We like his upper body strength; has a powerful initial punch with good arm length and quick hands. He works to relocate quickly. He works and sits well as he wants to deliver a knockout punch. This is an aggressive player who shows a dominant attitude when working to finish blocks; is very persistent once contact is made and not satisfied until his opponent is out of the play and on the ground. Colin could definitely see early playing time at the next level.

Scouting Report

Ty is likely the most “ready to play right away” quarterback in this class and most naturally gifted passer in this class. You don’t see many weaknesses in his game and he is only going to get better once he enters college. He is a tough leader on the field and he has the natural ability to develop into an upper echelon starter in college. Has a very strong arm, gets good velocity on passes and can fit the ball into tight spaces. Gets set quickly, makes quick decisions and has the quick release to help neutralize pass rushes. Goes through progressions, has good height and can see the entire field. Does an excellent job in terms of changing up velocity, shows good touch when throwing underneath and shows very good accuracy when his feet are set. Shows good pre-snap recognition skills, adjusts to the blitz and can beat pressure. Possesses good lateral mobility, can buy Jordan seconds in the pocket and throws well on the run. Appears to play with confidence and wants the ball in hands. Ty shows great pocket presence and is deceptively athletic. He is effective out of the pocket, will lower his head and get the tough first down. He may be the one quarterback in this class with the ability to play right away with a short learning curve.

Scouting Report

Parker is a steady point guard with a well rounded game. Typically content to set the table for others and distribute the ball, he scores within the flow of the offense and in a variety of different ways. He shoots it well from behind the arc and also knows how to create space in the mid-range area. His handle is efficient, both against pressure and when creating, and he makes good use of a floater inside the lane.
.
Bottom Line:
Parker is just the type of guy you look for to run your team, steady and dependable but capable of making a play when the offense breaks down.

Scouting Report

Owen Smith is exceptionally tall (6-foot) for a middle school center, and he’s a manhandler. Once he gets his claws into a defender he’ll take him for a ride. Has a strong upper body and creates movement. His good first step allows him to pick up stunting defensive linemen. He’s exceptional on the down block, destroying defenders. Works his body into position after throwing his initial punch. Executes the shotgun snap to perfection, and can step as he delivers the ball without losing fluidity. Can usually chip off the combo block effectively and get to the second level. Has enough mobility to venture across the field for an occasional downfield block. He’s solid in pass protection with upside. Smith is dedicated at working hard to improve his foot quickness and agility. His wide wingspan makes him difficult for pass rushers to get around in his limited area of responsibility. Demonstrates great leadership skills and plays aggressively, especially at the line of scrimmage. He’s a take-charge guy who will be able to handle blocking calls and adjustments at the next level. Smith has all the tangibles to develop into a big-time college center.

Scouting Report

Taryn is the dominant type run blocker who knocks defensive lineman back where they came from. His size and athleticism are what we like to see at the major level of competition. Shows good flexibility in a three point stance; comes off the ball with very good initial quickness and explosion. Plays with a flat back and good pad level when drive blocking; blocks with a wide base and the leg drive to get movement off the line of scrimmage. This guy has the agility to handle inside quickness and change of direction moves. Demonstrates very good pull / trap mechanics; can get to the edge, seal and play on his feet well in space. When he locks up with linebackers it usually results in a pancake as his excellent upper body playing strength becomes evident. We also like his effort to finish and look for a second blocks downfield. Displays good short set and initial punch skill; has good arm length and quick hands. Works to relocate and extend while showing he can adjust to alternate inside moves. We see the flexibility to bend and slide his feet to the deep set point. His initial quick set move is good; can bend, slide his feet and play flat footed to the deep set point; shows quick hands and extension; reacts to edge rushers, keeping them off the QB; does a good job taking on the bull rush. This prospect shows a mean streak and will punish defenders when the opportunity presents itself. Taryn is a tough aggressive guy who will dominate and finish blocks in a punishing fashion. Has the frame to put on additional weight. As this occurs he should see early playing time which will allow him to polish his skills, leading to a very long and productive career at the major level of competition.

Scouting Report

Jake possesses very good athleticism, making him a dual-threat QB. He possesses great speed for the position. He shows command of the scheme, gets the ball out quickly and shows he can work from one target to the next. He makes good decisions on the run when flushed or pressured. He recognizes coverage and where to go pre-snap and possesses a calm and cool demeanor. He is a tough runner who does not shy away from contact. He is balanced and quick in his set-up. He wastes little time getting set from snap to throw and is very efficient. He possesses a smooth, quick, strong delivery that is compact and consistent. He shows proper ball carriage at chest level and a natural throwing motion. Jake is capable of driving the ball deep and outside of the numbers when his feet are set. When his feet are set, Jake is very efficient within the strike zone. He flashes zip and touch and is capable of fitting the ball into tight spots and leading receivers with a catchable ball, especially on movement routes. Dual-threat skills give him upside. Jake is a nice blend of arm and athleticism. He’s an elite runner with a good football I.Q. and very productive. Jake is a prospect at this stage that possesses just about every physical trait or measurable you could want in a high school prospect. He can run, he displays a terrific arm, he possesses great size on a muscular frame and his overall athleticism is off the charts. He plays in the shotgun spread which is ideal for his tools, but he could easily play in the pro-set and from under center and be just as big of a threat. Stands tall and can scan the field from within the pocket. However, he is truly at his best when on the move and creating or keeping a play alive. He is such a distinct running threat that you sometimes forget that his live arm can make throws deep down the field even when off balance or on the move. Ball jumps out of his hand with great velocity and authority when his feet are set. Can make every throw including those into tight spots at intermediate ranges. Can drive the ball deep and really stretch the field when he is balanced and transfers his weight from his back foot. Appears to show quality accuracy overall to all areas of the field and has a knack for throwing off balance and still hitting the strike zone. What’s most impressive about Jake is his overall speed and athleticism for a player his size. He is elusive, strong and deceptively quick. This offense allows for him to roll out to either side and be a run/pass threat the majority of the time in the passing game. Throws well on the move and can throw back against his body. Overall, Jake is the total package when it comes to measurables and physical tools. He is also a great baseball player. He has a chance to be special and is a highly competitive prospect with a high work ethic. …
