SCOUTING REPORT K-P
Trey has very good leg strength which is evident by his charts on Kick offs and field goals at college football camps events since his freshman year. Trey also is one of the most prolific kickers in the history of high school football in Mississippi. He has put up big numbers for his high school team for several seasons. His rhythm as a k/p is solid. He has performed well in many situations and dominated many different events. Trey's leg speed is very good and it also shows when he hits his "A" ball in punting. Trey should battle immediately in college for playing time on field goals and kick offs.SCOUTING REPORT QB
Trey is a very polished, crisp passer who has been well coached on fundamentals and ball handling. He has good size and the frame to really bulk up. Mechanically, he is very sound. He has a quick set up and a quick release. He has good movement skills, is mobile in the pocket and has an excellent feel for the rush -- he will stand in the pocket and take a hit. He can make all the throws with good velocity and accuracy, is very efficient and does not make a lot of mistakes. His release is compact and reminds us of former Nevada QB Clayton Thorson with his delivery. He really manages the offense well, and his poise and decision making is really solid. He is a good play-action quarterback with solid ball-handling skills. He has good mobility, can get out of trouble at times and does a nice job of rolling out and throwing on the run. He does have an elite arm strength, but it is more than good and shows quality RPMs in the short-to-intermediate passing game. Overall, Trey skills are very strong. He has excellent upside and is further ahead of many quarterbacks at this stage.
